We’ve divided some of our premium-grade Field Bag canvas remnants into 1.25- to 3.5-yard lengths, now available for you to purchase at bargain prices! This is 10 oz. (midweight) 100% cotton duck with water repellant finish, milled in India, dyed and finished in the US. (For waxed canvas remnants, click here.)
It is 58" wide, with yardage/length per pre-cut piece as indicated in the dropdown listings.
All color names correspond to the Field Bag (toffee, blue, grey, charcoal, olive, pink) or Town Bag (olive, cocoa, fig) we made from them, except "Regatta Blue," which we never used and is not pictured — it is very slightly deeper than our Field Bag Blue.
PLEASE NOTE: ALL YARDAGE AMOUNTS ARE APPROXIMATE. We’ve endeavored to underestimate, so you hopefully get slightly more than stated, but we can’t guarantee we haven’t slightly overestimated anywhere —plus there may be a few dusty inches from the end of a roll here and there. In other words, allow a margin of error.
ALSO: We have obviously used this canvas successfully for bags, and our friend Kate of Kelbourne Woolens made an incredible jacket with it (see photo) using Grainline's Thayer Jacket pattern. Other than that, we cannot advise you as to whether this canvas is suitable for whatever project you have in mind, nor as to the shrinkage or color-fastness of the fabric, etc.
